This video shows a list of all the Adventure Mode's 110 missions in the DS version of _Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games_, and proof that it is possible, albeit difficult, to get a gold star on all of them.

If you get gold stars for every mission in one of six zones across two islands (Winter Island and Dream Island), you will receive an emblem named "X Hero", where X is the name of the zone you got all the gold stars in. Winter Island's three zones (Frostown, Polastraits and Icepeak) have Olympic events, colorcoded blue. Dream Island's three zones (Sparkleton, Cubyrinth and Blizland) have dream events, colorcoded green. Collecting all six hero emblems entails that you have beaten the Adventure Mode missions 100%.

In many missions, the key to getting a gold star involves picking the right characters suited for the mission, knowing the ins and outs of the event's controls and course and/or sometimes even a bit of luck.
