setting up marlin with version 1.1.9 on a MKS Gen L v1.0 8 bit board with a reprap discount full graphic smart controller 12864 lcd with tmc2100 and lv8729 stepper drivers and an all metal bmg style 3 to 1 geared extruder

Here are the basics you need to setup your Gen L board i faced some issues with this version of marlin which were not apparent in older versions. so i had to fix them and i explain them as i go along.

when i wanted to setup my board i could not find a video specific enough for this board so i cobbled together everything and made this video so hopefully it will help others.
