মানিক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় রচিত মাসি পিসি দুই বিধবা নারীর সংগ্রামমুখর জীবনের গল্প। স্বামীর নির্মম অত্যাচারের শিকার পিতৃমাতৃহীন আহ্লাদির জীবনকাহিনী নিয়ে রচিত হয়েছে গল্পটি। মাসিপিসি আহ্লাদিকে রক্ষা করার জন্য যেন যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করেছে পাড়ার গুণ্ডাবদমাশ এবং গোকুল জমিদারের কবল থেকে। সুতরাং এটি নারীদের নিজেদের আত্মরক্ষার সংগ্রামের যুদ্ধ। অত্যাচারী পুরুষ এবং লম্পট পুরুষসমাজের বিরুদ্ধে এ যুদ্ধে নারীদের অনেকটাই যেন জয়ী হতে দেখা যায় গল্পের শেষ দিকে। বি.দ্র. গল্পটির মূল ভাব অক্ষুন্ন রেখে সমাজের এই চরিত্রগুলোকে দৃশ্যমান করার জন্য গল্পটি নাট্যায়নের উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে। বাস্তবতার কারণে খানিকটা ভিন্নতাও আছে।
MASHI PISHI is the story of the struggle of two widows. The story is based on the life story of the oppressed Ahladi, who was brutally tortured by her husband.
