Wednesday 5th June 2019 Possibly the most unique day in recent times at Duxford which saw the gathering of no fewer than 23 DC3s, C53, C47, C41 & Li2s from all over the world gather to commemorate the 75th anniversary of DDay. We see here 21 examples startup, taxi and depart Duxford bound for Normandy just as would have happened 75 years ago. Daks over Normandy is arguably the most incredible salute to the 156,000 allied troops that saw action on the 6th of June 1944. Please stay tuned for much more from this awesome event.
