Another dead tractor is unloaded on the inclined area in a very safe manner. At least for me it is. I do not suggest anyone else takes the things I do for the full 'safety approved' method of doing anything at all...much less unloading a tractor.
Yes, of course the tractor is currently not among the 'living', but with a little luck and a few bucks, hopefully it will become another reliable daily driver. So many times I need a little more oomph pulling a load around the shop or moving a heavily loaded trailer out of the woods. THIS old guy will be the ticket to paradise if paradise is described by someone as 'having the means to move a terrifically large pile of anything'....if necessary. Wheels are optional on the load, btw.
Actually the holy grail of tractors to ME is the ever elusive model 55 Massey Harris. Now a 55 would make this 44 Special look as anemic and weak as the 44 will do to the little model 30's you see me use here on the property continuously !! Well, think about it, the 44 is 98 cu in larger than the little 30 and the 55 is 105 cubic inches larger than the 44 Special. So yeah, it's almost an apple and oranges comparison. (;
No lives were lost in the making of this video, even though my own was a bit in jeopardy when the Missus figured out she might've been scammed a bit by the 'tire' story. LOL, Good thing for me that she's a good sport !! But anyway, look at it this way...we will be resurrecting an otherwise dead relic and giving it a chance at a new life far away from the abuses it has suffered getting to its current deteriorated condition !! Yes, this is going to be for the good of all mankind...and you will see it right here on Tractorman44 !!
