Sound designer and composer Ben Chilton delivers a detailed look at how modular synthesisers and hardware can open up a world of sonic potential.

As well as covering a multitude of sound design creation techniques, Ben also gives us a rig rundown of his setup with tips on how to build your own modular rack.

Alongside teaching, Ben works at Bristolbased independent electronic music store Elevator Sound, which specialises in eurorack modular, semimodular and desktop synthesizers to drum machines, FX units and MIDI controllers.
