I thought you guys might find this interesting. It's a common graphic design technique (one of my other hobbies) for transferring color from one image to another. It occurred to me it might help to try to match colors for my model kits. I've used it a couple of times now for this sort of use case, and it works great. I'm getting a much better result when mixing the paints. As I'm adjusting each of the colors, it's fantastically helpful just to take a little dab and put it on the paper next to the color block and see how close it is.

The software I'm using is called paint.net. It's freeware, and you can download it directly from the paint.net website at no charge, or you can get it through the Microsoft app store for $9.99
