Follow
Trans Matters Worldwide

Calling all Nonbinary folks who want to vocally sound better.

In this webinar, the third of four, we will hear from trans vocal coaching expert Stephen Davidson, Director of the London Trans Choir on how to get the most from your nonbinary voice regardless of whether you were assigned male or female at birth (AMAB / AFAB ).

As an enby making the most of your voice is an important step on your transgender journey. We all sound different and the best course of action is to get to grips with your voice and learn how to control how you sound. This session will help you learn to use your voice with intention and create new habits that will really help you feel better about yourself.

This webinar has been built specifically for nonbinary people and is filled with practical advice and simple tools that anyone can use to reduce dysphoria and feel more confident when it comes to you voice.

Stephen talks about:
• Understanding the parts of the voice to maximise how you sound
• Making your pitch sound lower and higher
• Using your vocal instrument to sound lower or higher
• Using volume and inflection to sound more masculine
• Regaining the upper region of your voice for singing
• Exercises to practice that over time will create new speaking habits.
• And so much more.

Stephen also answered questions from the audience live.
