Well things dont always go to plan, I really did a lot of work only to have to do it all over again because I forgot something ! Taken Monday May 20th and I started the day heading back to McHenry's to get the right tie rods as I got the big ones and needed the small ones and while I was there Harry asked me if I changed the quad seal in the steering box. That was the moment I knew I screwed up ! I got the new seal and tie rods and headed back to the farm to pull the steering box back out to put the new seal in. After getting it all put back together and the tie rods put on 1 new one and 1 old one because I had to order the steering arm as it was shot and will arrive in a few days and I'll put it on and line the front end back up I called it a day. Tuesday morning I finished up getting the radiator cleaned up and put back on and the grill and hood muffler and other stuff put back on and fired it up and parked by the yellow truck to put fuel in it. With a 10% chance of rain that day I was supposed to get burn down sprayed on the field and cut grass cause dad was itching to cut it and about the time I got the 1850 done and sat down to cool off a bit it started to rain ! After the rain moved threw (a 10th) it got ungodly hot and humid and dad didnt want to do it so I got to cut all the grass ! After the grass was cut I put fuel in the 1850 topped off all the fluids and hooked the $50 field cultivator and went over and worked up the ground by the house and I got to say I really was impressed with it and the ride the wide front gives the 1850 now and how the front end stay on the ground when using a 3pt field cultivator, It was a bit bobbly before with the narrow front. It was a long couple of days and I did a lot of work for nothing forgetting to change that quad seal in the steering box but it got a new one and from now on I will remember this screw up thats for sure ! Maybe tomorrow I hope to get the harrow gadder out and hit the field before it rains we'll see what happens. I hope you enjoyed watching. Bandit
