MayThurner Syndrome is a condition where the iliac artery compresses the iliac vein against the spine, causing it to narrow, restricting blood circulation from the legs back to the heart.

Symptoms of MayThurner Syndrome include:

leg swelling
chronic leg pain
DVT (blood clot) in the leg
one leg larger than the other
chronic venous insufficiency
varicose veins in the pelvic area
skin discoloration in the lower leg or ankle
venous ulcers in the lower leg that do not heal
