Armed with my brand new Tenkara rod, I was ready for my first big fishing success... but something strange happened. After setting up camp and hiking to several promising fishing spots, we were stunned to find not a single fish in sight! No fish in the streams? What could be going on here? Was it just bad timing or something more serious with the ecosystem? Either way, this experience left us wondering if fly fishing in this area is even worth it.
