In the video, I explain the different movements of the ball and socket joints in our body. In order to successfully pass the massage therapy licensing exam you will need an indepth understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as kinesiology.

The glenohumeral joint is the articulation of the glenoid cavity and head of the humerus.

The acetabulofemoral joint is the articulation of the acetabulum and the head of the femur.

The movements at a ball and socket joint are flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, horizontal abduction, horizontal adduction, medial rotation and lateral rotation, and circumduction.

Make sure you know the terms of these joints, they are likely to show up on the MBLEx. Especially if they showed up in the FSMTB’s MBLEx Study Guide.

I would encourage you to stay to the very end of this video where I will ask you two questions to check your understanding of the material covered in this video.

Very respectfully,
WellKnown Reyes
