This chapter tests a very, very specific concept of organic chemistry your ability to track atoms during synthetic processes. The MCAT would like you to understand the positions at which certain species are deprotonated, how that affects stability of a final product, and the various synthetic steps that can be taken to form new bonds within an organic system. This chapter is quite tough, good luck!
