This is the hinge in satin chrome finish. The "T4A3786" is representative of the fact that this is a heavyweight hinge, is what this means. Ball bearing. The leaf is 180/1000" thick, so it's a heavyweight hinge. It's thicker than your standard commercial hinge, substantially so. 5" high, 41/2" wide, which is a common hinge size for a door that is specified as being very highfrequency use, very heavy duty use, this would be appropriate. It is NRP, and as you can see here there is a set screw, and that set screw is drilled and tapped into the knuckle. There is a slot or groove cut into the pin so that when you tighten the set screw down the pin cannot be removed out, and you can't drive it out from the bottom. Stamped with the McKinney logo. Also has its classification on the other side, rated for there wind storm application. Full mortise hinge, as you can see from the hinge swag, this would be intended to be mortised to the door and frame. Typical for steel doors, not uncommon for wood doors either, but something this heavy duty is going to be on a door that's going to get a lot of use. This would not be common for your typical hollow metal door and frame. This would be for a very heavy duty, highfrequency use application.
