Me328 Twin Pulso Beckum Erstflug Twin Puls Engine

This one is a rare one, the first and only flight of a Twin Puls Jet setup to date. These were two giant pulse engines which my father had flown in a single pulse jet setup in his 1:4 scale Messerschmitt Me163's.

He went to the extreme and created his Me328.

This was the maiden flight before he boxed his two Me328s up and traveled to the QSAA Event in Las Vegas.

There both jets were lost, unfortunately. The first one had successful launch but lost the inner motor when he came in for his first pass past the crowd. In order not to endanger anyone he decided to put the Me328 straight into the ground, voluntarily.

The second Me328 was lost at takeoff. Watch the Maiden video closely, you will notice two protective cover tubes which run over the pulse engine, protecting the tailsection of the Me328 during startup.

The laser weld on one of the titanium pulse engine ripped, the tailsection split. Since all of that occured underneath the cover it was not visible. At launch one of the two cover tubes was pulled with the airplane (bungee launch), causing immediate and uncontrollable yaw and unfortunately, the second Me328 was lost.

I have in my collection a third one, again outfitted with the pulse jet motors. Maybe one day......

If anyone can assist me when it comes to pulse jet knowhow, please contact me. My father passed away many years ago and his knowhow was lost that day.

One after another I will upload the VHS video collection of my late father's Jörg "George" Vogelsang.

Included will be private footage of both German, European and International events of the 80s and 90s, most of it never seen before. There will be clips of RC VHS tapes long gone and tapings of documentaries which he left me with.

Should you find that I violated copyrights, please contact me and I will take the video in question down immediately.

I am doing this for one reason only, to preserve RC aviation history. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as my late father did all his life and as I do to this day.

There may be minutes of silence, this is intentional as the original video may contain otherwise copyright protected songs and music.
