Meadowsweet is one of the most useful digestive tonics I know of.
It is an alltime favourite of mine as a tea addition. Not only does it taste good, it has the ability to modulate both hypo and hyperacidity in the stomach as well as work with inflammation, pain, microbiological imbalances and so much more.
Meadowsweet is Native to North/Central Asia and Europe, but it has naturalized throughout many parts of North America and is easy to grow a home garden.
