Median Value in Pivot Table (Using Power Pivot DAX Measure)

Using Excel power pivot and DAX function to get a median value in Excel Pivot table. DAX functions allow us to create custom "measures" which are basically just custom formulas that we can drop into out pivot tables. No Array functions required! The best thing about this method is that it will work great with large data sets and multiple grouping criteria (rows and columns). This is much more flexible than array functions but it does require Excel Power Pivot add in to use the DAX formulas.
