Before law school, Anthony Bento (’13) interned at a State Senator’s Office and witnessed policy decisions being made firsthand. This role influenced Bento’s decision to go to law school.

Bento chose to pursue his legal studies at McGeorge School of Law because the people he encountered in the California State Capitol all had McGeorge degrees and had great experiences at the law school.

Based on what Bento learned at McGeorge, he explains that he felt prepared for his career postgraduation. Bento discusses how he earned practical experience during law school and was able to apply the law in a professional setting. Currently, Bento is the Chief Legal Officer at the California New Car Dealers Association, a registered lobbyist, and a member of the McGeorge School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.
