Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey says he will appeal his conviction for bribery, but many of his colleagues say he should resign or be expelled. A jury found him guilty Tuesday after a twomonth trial. His lawyers had tried to blame his wife, who is due to go on trial later this year.
