Long radius 4" mandrel bent pipe tuned to the perfect length for the best performance for the Mercruiser 7.4 MPI engine. Increase performance and throttle response. Also helps to quiet down the intake sounds. if you have ever noticed a whistle / whistling sound or a woosh sound from your engine this will help to quiet that down. MAKE SURE your engine bay has enough space in front of the engine for the intake pipe as pictured. Some engine bay lids do not leave enough space in front of the motor.

Upgraded intake system. Mercruiser 7.4 MPI. This is on a 1999 Cobalt 232, but will work on any Mercruiser 7.4 MPI that has enough space in the engine compartment for the intake pipe. This setup is a 4" aluminum mandrel bent pipe, silicone reinforced reducing coupler, stainless steel clamps, and a high performance marine flame arrestor. There is less "air sucking" sound at cruising speeds, and there is a noticeable increase in power. We have also noticed that at lower speeds for water sports (around 1014 MPH), we are able to keep a steady speed much easier than before.
