The Peruvian naval industry has all the technological and human elements to build its own frigates or any other type of boat of great scope.
The company Industrial Services of the Navy (Sima) has a great international recognition in this matter and its empowerment would have very positive repercussions for the country.
 
"Of course Peru is able to build frigates, we already did it with the help of other shipyards. Our last two frigates, were made here in full, "he told the Andean Agency.
 
He assured that not only can they rebuild multipurpose boats, but also for transport activities of all kinds, and stressed that the naval industry would help revive the national economy and generate thousands of jobs.

"There are thousands of people working in all fields, because the metalworking industry, services, there are a lot of services that have to be activated to generate this movement. It is one of the industries that more personnel and workforce moves, "he said.
