X-Ray Review - Educational Radiology Channel

This video includes multiple radiographic examples of lytic metastatic spread from breast cancer. This video does not discuss the extensive radiographic presentations of all metastasis, instead it is focused on examples of metastasis from breast cancer.
Breast cancer metastasis refers to the spread of breast cancer cells from the primary tumor site (the original location where the cancer started in the breast) to other parts of the body. Metastasis is a complex process in which cancer cells break away from the primary tumor, enter the bloodstream or lymphatic system, travel to distant organs or tissues, and then establish new cancerous growths in those distant sites. It is a critical factor in the progression of cancer and can make the disease more challenging to treat.
