We previously covered the incredible case of a meteor which landed on a Roman battlefield. Its impacts were largely felt in the realm of the eras religious and political landscape. In this documentary episode, we explore cases of the physical impact which meteors had on societies and militaries across the ages.

We began by discussing what meteors even have to offer mankind. This largely involves the random distribution of iron which was otherwise difficult to access, particularly in the Stone and Bronze Ages. We then cover the history of incidents in which people from the past collected and made use of Meteor debris. This spans the gauntlet from intricate jewelry to the use of ceremonial daggers and even meteor weapons.
