This time we make three journeys in one video. We follow the route of the ELR and L&Y from Bury into Piccadilly and discuss the Irk Valley Junction crash. We then make two truncated journeys. The first is from Altrincham on the MSAJR which was the route of the Class 304s to Manchester Oxford Road that will bring back memories as we run alongside the Bridgewater Canal. Finally, a newer route from Manchester Airport to St Werburgh’s Road. A fascinating combination of off road and on road before finishing up on the old Cheshire Lines route from East Didsbury.
