Metrology Lab - Review of RIGOL DHO800 oscilloscope! Is 12 bits enough?

Follow
Piotr Burnos

I am testing for you the new RIGOL DHO800 series oscilloscope, specifically the top model DHO814!

This model features an A/D converter with a resolution of 12 bits, a bandwidth of 100MHz and a maximum sampling rate of 1.25GSa/s. So it looks promising, but what is it like in practice?

I test all the basic functions of this oscilloscope for you and check its basic parameters. What are the benefits of 12 bits? Is the frequency response met? How to work on a touch screen? You will find answers to these and many other questions in this video.
