Details:
On Monday, June 19th, a day prior to the kick off of the Rip Curl Pro Search WCT "Somewhere in Mexico", a massive swell rocked Puerto Escondido. Beach side cafes were wiped out and water flooded the streets of Playa Zicatela. Two teams of towin surfers (Scott Chandler, Chuck Patterson, Carlos 'Coco' Nogales, Ken 'Skindog' Collins, Chad Jackson) went out at first light in what many are calling the biggest Mexican Pipeline in years. Veteran director Dave Ogle (Puerto Underground 4) was kind enough to share his 'secret' filming spots so that David Palmer could capture this epic day on film.
