Medical School: University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
Residency: Mount Sinai Hospital, General Surgery
Fellowship: Mount Sinai Hospital, Vascular Surgery
Current: Clinical Chief of Surgery at St. Barnabas and Vice President of the Medical Staff

EXPERTISE:
Dr. Addis’ surgical interests include the endovascular treatment of abdominal and thoracic disease, hemodialysis access and peripheral vascular disease. He has presented this topic at various symposia and is serving as a subinvestigator in one of the industrysponsored studies in which TCVCG participates. Dr. Addis has also been voted by his peers as a Top Doc in New Jersey for 13 years in a row.

BACKGROUND:
Dr. Addis served as a Infantry Officer in the United Sates Army for 8 years after graduating from Dartmouth College. He graduated from the US Army Airborne and Ranger Schools before being assigned to the 4th Battalion 18th Infantry in Germany. He served during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for bravery during combat operations against the Iraqi Republican Guard in February of 1991. He left the Army to pursue a career in medicine.
