Fried Goldberg's Michael Goldberg tells jurors that evidence shows a tractortrailer driver violated industry standards when braking his truck to a stop to avoid a van passing through his lane, which Goldberg says caused a collision that left a Georgia man with a traumatic brain injury.

Jurors handed down a $16.6 million verdict in the case and found the trucking company 60% responsible, assigning the remaining 40% of responsibility to the plaintiff.
