A 30yearold gentleman presented to us with severe persistent low back and leg pain. He had visited multiple hospitals and doctors, but continued to suffer with the pain, which had affected his lifestyle to a great extent. After clinicoradiological evaluation, he was diagnosed to be suffering from L4L5 disc herniation. He was operated for the same wherein L4L5 microscopic discectomy was done. The surgery was absolutely without any complications and without any neurological deficits. He started walking painfree on the same evening of the surgery and was then discharged from hospital on postop day 1.
