Released in 2005, the Xbox 360 was Microsoft's 2nd console & was a huge advancement over the original Xbox. With HD capabilities, improved Xbox Live infrastructure, user upgradeable HDD, wireless controller, and improved multimedia capabilities, the Xbox 360 was the most impressive Xbox yet. Despite some serious hardware issues early on in its lifespan, like the infamous "Red Ring of Death", the Xbox 360 was still very successful for Microsoft & a worthy competitor against the PS3 & Wii. If the original Xbox established the initial foundation, then the Xbox 360 built on top of that foundation & made it a towering brand that it still making huge innovations in the industry to this day.
