Seen here are the mighty GE90s powering these Boeing 777 aircraft. Currently the Boeing 777 has the most powerful engine of any comercial aircraft.
During certification testing in 2002, the GE90115B engine set a worldrecord 127,900 lbs of thrust. The GE90115B ran for approximately 60 hours at maximum fan speed, core speed to evaluate the engine at its operational limits and demonstrate its capability beyond the most extreme operating conditions. Their GE90115B is workhorse of the 777s. ENJOY!
