Milan to Paris by high-speed train: better than flying?

Follow
Always Be Changing

After spending the past week in Florence and Milan, we’re leaving Italy and traveling to a killer 2bedroom suite in the heart of Paris. By train. That takes 7 hours. And gets us into the city late enough that we’ll be cramming into a temporary room for the night and completing our journey about 24 hours from now.

Will this trip feel like a scenic and relaxing journey through the French countryside? Or a neverending trek with eight bags and couple of tired and hungry kids? We’re about to find out.

ABOUT US

We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience—up close and in person—all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.
