The Coastal Taipan is the third most venomous snake in Australia and one of the longest venomous snakes in the world. It is highly defensive and its bite is a powerful combination of neurotoxic and haemotoxic venom. Jack and Chris are trained professionals, and this is a captive snake.

In this episode, Jack joins up with venom collectors Christina Zdenek, an American venom scientist, and Chris Hay, a snake handling legend, who have an unusuallywriggly snake milking mission with some baby Eastern Brown Snakes. But then it’s Jack’s turn and the snake he will be milking today has quite a reputation… the Coastal Taipan!
