In this walkthrough, I'm going to explain how MillenniumOS for the Millennium Machines Milo V1.5 is designed to make workpiece probing simple and safe, regardless of whether you have a touch probe or not.

I'll go over how we can use the same probing macros to work with both fully automated (using a touch probe) and partly automated (using a datum tool) probing systems.

I'm also going to go over one of the more complex canned probing cycles, Rectangle Block, which can measure the dimensions of a block of material and work out whether it is correctly aligned with the X and Y movement of the machine.
