Kratochvil has installed hundreds of trolling motors and shares many tips and tricks to speed the process and ensure the job is done right the first time. While our original Minn Kota Ultrex install video featured an aluminum bass boat, we tackle upgrading an older fiberglass bass boat this time around, which brings about some fiberglassspecific pointers.

An older boat that floats is just as capable as a newer one as long as it's equipped with quality electronics and a durable and powerful trolling motor with builtin boat control capabilities. This video is aimed squarely at the "do it yourself" angler that likes saving money and enjoys tackling some handson projects.
