A Northrop Grumman Minotaur IV launch vehicle launched the NROL129 mission from the MidAtlantic Regional Spaceport’s (MARS) Pad 0B on Wallops Island, Virginia, on 15 July 2020, at 13:46 UTC (09:46 local time). NROL129 is a classified payload for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The Minotaur IV rocket, built and operated by Northrop Grumman, consists of three solidfueled motors from decommissioned Peacekeeper ICBMs and a commercial solid rocket upper stage.
