Precision, recall and confusion matrix are used to evaluate supervised machine learning models or classifiers. However, if the confusion matrix of a model is given, how can we calculate precision and recall from it. The formulas for precision and recall are provided and using the information available in the confusion matrix, the precision and recall are calculated for each label.
