This video shows every one of the G scale Thomas & Friends locomotives running on a layout through my house, in the form of a children's story. The story involves Thomas, Winston, Toby, James, Percy, Emily, and a pair of foster puppies from our local animal shelter. Thomas saves the day when the puppies run out of food. Also, Emily and Toby have a collision at a dangerous crossing where the tracks circle around and cross over themselves. The adorable young puppies are seen in numerous quick scenes throughout the video. Another highlight is "Joke Time" where I tell some Dad jokes about trains, which are met with groans and eyerolling from my wife. A rare cameo from Mrs. Zim... who doesn't like to appear in my videos very often!

With the addition of Winston and Toby, my collection of the G scale Thomas & Friends locomotives is now complete... I have them all! Thanks to my friends at Trainworld.com and Bachmann for sending these to me.

This train layout is actually two layouts in one. There is one set of tracks with a DCC power supply and control system, and another with a conventional analog train control system that is used to run the locomotives that aren't equipped with DCC.

In the trainyard in a spare bedroom of our house you can also see a few of the other locomotives in my collection. Besides the Bachmannbrand Thomas and Friends trains, I also have model trains from LGB, MTH, and Piko... although they are not featured in this particular video. Check out some of the other model train videos on my channel to see all the other trains in my collection.

This video was shot with a GoPro Hero 7 Black mounted on a gimbal. A Canon EOS 80D was also used on a few shots.

These model train videos are extremely expensive to make. The model train equipment you see in this video cost in excess of $4000 and I'm sure my entire collection cost in excess of $15,000. As an example, each foot of track cost about $7. The cost of the cameras and production equipment is another factor. If you enjoyed this video, please consider becoming a patron of this channel to help fund the addition of even more model train equipment for future videos. Even a commitment of just $1 per month will help, if enough viewers participate. For more information on becoming a patron, go to   / jimzim
