The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensor is onboard Terra and Aqua Satellites.MODIS products are available for free download as global tiles. Each MODIS product has a quality control flag which we will use to screen out cloud or snow contaminated pixels. MODIS Land Products are available for free download as global tiles as hdf files in a sinusoidal projection.
