In this MOH Talk, Dr Vincent Singh Paramanandam discusses his scientific study on prevention of breast cancerrelated lymphedema.
Breast cancerrelated lymphedema is a condition characterized by the accumulation of lymphatic fluid, leading to swelling in the arms or chest area, commonly occurring as a consequence of surgical interventions or radiation therapy for breast cancer. The removal or damage to lymph nodes during these procedures can disrupt the normal flow of lymph, causing fluid buildup.
