Uprighting molars by mesial root movement is a VERY difficult procedure. It requires the application of a high moment to force ratio together with a resisting force added at the level of the tube to prevent distal crown movement. If a precise force system is applied, the angular osseous crest associated with the tipped molar can be eliminated. Moreover, this physiological force system avoids round tripping and jiggling forces that are harmful for surronding tissues. I hope you enjoy this tip!
