You join us in September on the lovely river Monnow in Monmouth fishing for chub right next to Monnow Bridge, which is the only remaining fortified river bridge in Great Britain! The pool below the bridge has been a tough spot for me in the past. I have regularly managed to get bites and hook fish, but the area close to the bridge can be snaggy. We tackle the fish late in the afternoon and into the evening. The question is "Do I succeed in landing a fish this time?".
