Sunshine, a monster storm and rain all during a single hike!

This is a video about 6day hike in one of the most beautiful mountain valleys I have ever hiked in. Vistasvagge valley is more than 30 kilometers long valley near Kebnekaise mountain massif, adjacent to Kungsleden trail and Tarfala valley research station. From Vistasvagge you can reach several high mountain passes on both sides of the valley or stay in the valley where a single wilderness hut, Vistas hut, can be found.

My route traversed the entire length of Vistas valley from south to north, made a loop at the northern end and returned to Nikkaluokta village via high mountain plateaus between Tarfala and Vistas valleys.

On the fourth day, the entire area was hit by stormlevel winds, later reported to reach 35 m/s at the Tarfala valley weather station. I managed to stay intact during the storm, but had to break camp in hard wind and rain and evacuate to Vistas huts. My XMid 1P tent started flapping loose and was in risk of tearing in the wind.
