PeterPaul Verbeek is a Philosopher of Technology. He is a professor at the Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society department and president of the Society for Philosophy and Technology. After Veni and Vidi, this year he has received the Vicigrant worth 1.5 million euros for his research on the intertwining between human existence and technology.
