New design for 2024/25

Utilising our own R&D department and 3D CAD, Morclean have redesigned their wash bay bunded tanks and made several improvements. The wash tank is a selfcontained structure with a grating and side screens to protect passersby and/or the environment for overspray. Ideal for washing plant an equipment, parts and components.

The wash bay can be installed inside or outside and only requires a reasonably level concrete base or similar slab. Ideal for washing tanks, motors, engines, small plant, portable equipment, vessels, parts and accessories, providing a legal and compliant wash tank to contain the water and prevent any outflow to a surface drain

Improvements to design

The new Morclean above ground wash tank is now manufactured from recyclable polyethylene with a GRP grating. The side walls are manufactured from twin wall polycarbonate

Parts Washer
The Morclean wash tank can also be used as a parts washer. Generally installed with a 100mm to 150mm wash tank beneath, the Morclean wash tank is ideal for jet washing smaller items such as pumps, motors and other components. The parts washer can be used with a hot or or cold jet wash including our electrically heated range.

The unit is generally suitable as a standard supply for washing parts up to 3T in weight. The self contained parts washer tank is made from polyethylene and the parts wash tank can be manufactured from 1M x 1M footprint and from 100mm depth.

The washing tank is usually surrounded by a splash screen on 3 sides to contain overspray and can be used internally

Typically a small pump box is added to pump the water to an above ground interceptor, and then the effluent will outflow to a mains foul drain or sewer. The GRP gratings are all removable to enable debris and silt to be taken out, the base can also be manufactured at up to 500mm depth

The parts washer is similar in design to the wash tank in that the installation is all above ground and requires no excavation or ground works. The design means the parts washer is also semiportable and can be relocated.

Also available with forklift pockets for total portability so that the self contained unit can be moved around to any location,
