'Morrigan' is a tragic tale based upon the mythology of the Celtic Irish Goddess 'Morrigan.' The Phantom Queen of battle and strife has her world changed by a mortal warrior.

Disclaimer: This animation was created as my degree final project at University. The story was very loosely based on elements from the original Morrigan myths (which I found truly fascinating,) then under the guidance of my tutors, altered for storytelling purposes.

Overall this project was an exercise in how to build an entire animation from scratch, from scripting, to preproduction design to animating, to postproduction. (You can see my trials and tribulations on the channel with various test animations.)

I enjoyed creating this animation, it was a year long project and though it bares little resemblance to the original myths admittedly there were many forms of Morrigan I hope it can be enjoyed nonetheless.

For those interested the 3D program used was Autodesk Maya.
