How to choose the best substrates and materials for lettering
How to cut the tesserae into shapes that will keep your letters clean and readable
How to create movement around the letters so your background has flow and balance

Each project in this course is designed to take you through the simple to the more advanced steps in the process. Each project is created in glass squares (or stained glass), which is Mark’s preferred choice of materials. You can create your projects with any material you like and still learn all of Mark’s techniques and achieve success.
