The 3line rifle M1891, colloquially known as the MosinNagant rifle in the west or Mosin rifle in Russia, is the standard infantry service rifle of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union from 1891 to around 1945. One of the longest serving bolt action rifles in history, the rifle would see use up to the 1960s in Soviet client states, and still sees continued use in various conflicts in the present day.
