My wife is a bit allergic to mosquito bites. The bites swell up huge when they bite her. So for her birthday this year, I bit the bullet and forked out mucho dinero and got her the Mosquito Magnet. Full disclosure, it's an investment, not a repeating purchase. So on the minus, they're a few hundred dollars. On the plus, less Off and DEET products (by the way, look for Icadrin repellents. Works just as good as DEET and smells like candy, not chemical hell).


As you can tell, it murdered a whole mosquito population!! Very happy with this purchase!

Update 2022/07/18: Year 3: It's been another horrible year for mosquitos (aka: very wet year). You basically can't stand outside without repellent. The city is spraying for mosquitos. But our little one acre oasis stands firm thanks to the Mosquito Magnet. Just like year 1, the basket is filled again this year, but you can walk around our living area (about 1 acre) with few mosquito attacks. Walk outside that area though, and get bombarded. Unbelievable how good this works.
