Most Disappointing tour in Iceland:

Not all tours and sites live up to the hype. Based on most reviews and pictures we thought this was going to be one of our best tours and although it was still worth doing, it was our most disappointing. The cost was steep at $180 pp and a large time commitment with only about an hour on the ice. I knew it was going to be different from Alaska when we had about 5 seven year olds in our group when we got there. Seeing the cave in mid August also didn’t help as typically winter is the best time for ice caves. Any time spent on a glacier though is time well spent.
